Taghrid Alsaeed

Taghrid Alsaeed is the Executive Director of Group Communications and Destination Marketing at Miral. She is pivotal in bolstering Miral’s overall integrated marketing communications framework, encompassing destination awareness, strategic direction, and hospitality business partnerships. Taghrid joined Miral in early 2022 and oversees the creation and development of Miral’s brand assets for local, regional, and global campaigns as the company continues to cut through the competitive international marketplace. Under Taghrid’s leadership, Miral’s marketing department has achieved significant milestones, including entering a key partnership with the Abu Dhabi Convention and Exhibition Bureau (ADCEB) to strengthen the emirate’s position as a destination for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE). Before joining Miral, Taghrid’s vast experience led her into several leadership roles in the industry; in 2011, she joined Mubadala Development Company Abu Dhabi as head of Digital Communications & Infrastructure. In 2018, she was seconded from Mubadala to Abu Dhabi Special Olympics World Games as the Director of Media and Marketing, she was also seconded to support the setup of the Abu Dhabi Media Government Office. In 2020, Taghrid returned to Mubadala to reshape the organisation’s media outreach strategy, establishing and heading the Media Intelligence & Innovation department. The passionate marketing pioneer began her leadership journey at Aldar Properties in 2008. She held various managerial positions in Sales, Marketing, Digital, and Media, spearheading the redevelopment of the company’s brand strategy. Earlier in her career, Taghrid established Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank subsidiary Burooj Real Estate’s sales and marketing division in 2006 and continued to lead their media and marketing team while pursuing her entrepreneurial ambitions through several successful private-sector endeavours. Taghrid is an appointed a board member at Miral Destinations, a subsidiary of Miral Group, and the trade and promotion of unique destinations including Yas Island Abu Dhabi and Saadiyat Island. She is actively engaged within different industry circles locally, regionally, and internationally as a TechStars Hub71 Accelerator Program mentor and member of the Strathclyde UAE Alumni Entrepreneurial Advisory Board (SUEAB), Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development and Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, and a Twofour54 partner. Taghrid holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Strathclyde University Abu Dhabi, a master’s degree in Visual Information Technology from George Mason University, Virginia, USA, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Marymount University, Virginia.
