Dr. Brooke Hansen is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of South Florida. She is the former Director of the Sustainable Tourism program at the USF College of Global Sustainability. Her specialties include destination stewardship planning, using virtualization technologies for sustainable tourism, interfacing with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, LEED certifications for hospitality, and promoting the links between regenerative agriculture and regenerative tourism. She is an academic affiliate of CREST and member of GSTC, ICHRIE, USGBC, Regenerative Travel, Global Agritourism Network (GAN), World Food Travel Association, and Food Tank’s Academic Working Group. As the founder of Regenerative Tourism Solutions, she works as a consultant in the U.S. and internationally in Europe on sustainable tourism.
